Teaching & Workshops
My workshops are under way for the first half of 2010. Keep checking this page for updates. All courses are full-day photography training workshops for a maximum of six people and are designed to help you get the best out of your camera, learn new techniques and come away with some great images at the end of an inspiring and highly practical day. All workshops take place on Sundays. Dates and topics are as follows: Feb 7th : Studio Day - close-ups and still life
Outdoor workshops are restricted to six delegates in order to make sure everyone gets individual attention. Studio Day - 7th February * Full *
View the Blog Post for images from this workshop. Studio Portraiture - 28th February In this workshop you will learn lighting and posing techniques in a studio setting. You will learn about the different equipment you can use in the studio and will get the chance to take great portraits with a model. Using Flash on Location - 7th March * 5 places left * This course is for SLR users who want to master flash photography and to develop their picture taking skills with people. You will learn how to use light and locations effectively to take great portraits. You will get the opportunity to practice the techniques taught in a practical indoor/outdoor setting with a model.
Composition in the City - 14th & 28th March In this workshop we will visit a city location and concentrate on getting some amazing images. You will learn to compose great shots using city architecture and backgrounds whilst also fine tuning your technical skills. Exact meeting places to be confirmed but we will be using the waterside areas of Gloucester (14th) and Worcester (28th). More information to follow shortly! |
